Congress Hall

Congress Hall is located on the main square of Astana. The construction of a unique facility was completed in 1963.  Originally building was named Tsellinikov (translates as worker in the virgin lands) Palace. But after a capital reconstruction in 1999, it acquired a new look and new functional capabilities, and was renamed into Congress Hall.

Today Congress Hall is a modern concert hall and the main cultural center of Astana. It meets all international standards: in its six floors have been placed 158 rooms and a hall for 1600 people. There are orchestral and ballet halls,  restaurant and a hall for receptions, its infrastructure is extensive and well-thought-out. Marvelous acoustics, an expanded stage, deluxe class make-up rooms allow to receive world famous stars. Lobby of the Palace is spacious, light, and very suitable for large exhibitions and trade fairs.
